WINCHESTER, Va. - The Shenandoah University women's basketball team downed Hollins University 52-42 Saturday afternoon in an ODAC contest.

The Hornets (8-8, 4-5 ODAC) led Hollins (3-11, 0-8) the entire length of the contest.

1st Quarter

Shenandoah scored the first three baskets of the game and did not look back, leading by as much as nine points in the first thanks to an Ashley Stone 3-point jumper with 3:15 remaining. Hollins answered back with seven straight points to bring the score within two, 13-11, at the end of one.

2nd Quarter

The two teams traded buckets throughout the second with SU leading 24-20 at the break.
