With the scored tied at 34-34 following a Regan Johnson layup with 27 seconds remaining in the second quarter, Shenandoah (3-2, 0-1 ODAC) saw the Wasps score the game's next 13 points to take a lead they would not relinquish.
E&H (5-0, 1-0) scored 22 of the initial 29 second half points to pull away from the Hornets.
Shenandoah would get no closer than 12 points the rest of the way.
SU and E&H traded buckets through the majority of the first quarter. The Hornets went on a 7-point run and a their largest lead, five points, in the middle of the stanza.
The two teams would even the score three times and trade the lead twice prior to the Wasps taking the lead with eight seconds before the halftime buzzer. The Hornets trailed 36-34 at the break.
Coming out of the locker room, E&H took control of the game with an 11-0 run before Ashley Stone ended that run with a 3-pointer at 6:06.
The Wasps held their highest lead of the game, 21 points, and outscored the Hornets 16-7.
