FERRUM, Va. - Shenandoah lost 4-0 at Ferrum Saturday night in ODAC action.

Michael Lyons figured in every Ferrum (7-3, 3-1 ODAC) goal to defeat the Hornets (3-6-1, 0-3).

20′ | Sam May scored Ferrum's first goal with Michael Lyons was credited with the assist.

56′ | Lyons serviced a corner kick into the box for a Juan Delao-Rodriguez goal.

70′ | Jordan Gibson found Lyons to give the Panthers a 3-0 lead.

80′ | Lyons scored an unassisted goal, his second of the game.

"This was a physical match," said Head Coach Matt Smith. "Our team is continuing to show progress and building chemistry. We are shifting focus on to EMU, we need to continue to battle in these league games."

UP NEXT

Shenandoah travels down I-81 to take on Eastern Mennonite on Tuesday evening, October 2. The game is slated for a 7 p.m. start.
